Jake

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that I share the following news about our beloved beagle, Jake, who likely greeted you during a visit to my office and lovingly cuddled with you during your session.

Jake was a friend to everyone he met. He was the embodiment of pure love, welcoming all animals and people with his soulful eyes and sweet healing energy.

We mutually adopted each other 7 years ago from Saving Great Animals, a Seattle-based matchmaking rescue organization, when he was 4. I am very grateful to them.

When I first saw Jake, I assured him that he had found his forever home with me. With that agreement settled, he quickly became fully integrated into my personal and professional lives.

When he was "off the clock" he accompanied me on long hikes, frequent walks to the library and many adventuresome road trips. When he was "on the clock" he graciously snuggled with clients during their sessions and assisted at my workshops to ensure all my students felt welcomed, seen and appreciated. I know for a fact that several clients were more interested in seeing Jake than me!

Sadly, Jake recently struggled with some significant health issues. Fortunately, he remained calm, grounded and gentle til the end. I could not have asked for a better dog, who brought so much joy to me and others.

Jake’s healing energy touched so many people and will be greatly missed, especially by me. Sleep peacefully, my sweet Jake.
